Ascent Trip Report

This was my final Idaho 12er 9/9!! Mission Complete! This was a pretty strenuous ascend, there is nothing gradual about this mountain. A majority of this climb is a scree scramble with what feels like two steps forward and three steps back. The view of the Lost River Valley is pretty impressive from this mountain though. There was alot of smoke cover in the valley until about 10,500 ft, breathing was difficult on this climb as well. Once to the false summit there is a pretty awesome knife edge ridge over to the summit. Upon leaving, it took 8 minutes to descent a little over 1,500 feet...very fun glissade down this mountain! This was Chad's 2nd mountain in 2 days. My brother Sean's 3rd summit with me.
