Ascent Trip ReportTook the Red Dot trail up and down. A few steep sections, very rocky trail. About 2/3 of a mile in the trail turns to the right and becomes significantly steeper. I didn't see any markings of that turn and as a result got momentarily sidetracked. There's one good view of the Gap on the way up and again at the summit. A popular hike with a lot of folks on the trail even on a sweltering weekday. |
