Ascent of Cube Point on 2016-08-18
|Date:||Thursday, August 18, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||9600 ft / 2926 m|
Ascent Trip ReportA perfect climb if you only have a half day in the Tetons. From String Lake TH, I was on the summit in two hours or less. The scrambling is very fun and quite exposed near the top. I'd say it was a harder scramble than Storm Point, but not as scary as Ice Point. Great views of the Cathedral Group, Storm/Ice Point, Symmetry Spire, etc. Was down before lunch, and long before the afternoon storms.
