Ascent Trip Report

Day 2 (cont. from Sacajawea TR)
We retraced the ridge back from Sacajawea, this time staying on top of the ridge and following it to the top of rock dome. After tagging the summit (the cairgn is a little off), we hiked out on the ridge toward South Hurwal Divide, almost immediately dropping down through the scree field toward the lake, following a faint climber’s trail. From there we hiked cross country until we reached the trail going back down to and around the lake, and were able to hike back down the switchbacks to our camp by 7 PM.
