Ascent Trip ReportHiked and scrambled to the summit of McClellan Butte. The trail is in great shape for the most part, but there are several downed trees across the upper half that need to be climbed over or bypassed, and one HUGE tree that can be walked up. There is no snow left up there, and the bugs didn't seem too bad after leaving the trailhead.
We saw quite a few other hikers today-- nowhere near the crowds of Mount Si or Mailbox Peak, but it was still pretty busy. We were in the clouds for most of the trip up, but were treated to some partial clearing and views of the Snoqualmie Valley at the summit and it was mostly clear on the way back down. Great day for a hike!
