Ascent Trip Report

This was a solo conditioning hike of 2 HPS peaks and 3 PB peak. For San Antonio, I did Rt. 2, up the Bald Bowl Trail past the Ski Hut to the summit. From San Antonio, I went down, then up to Harwood. San Antonio had the plaque that has been up there for years. Harwood had no register or BM.
From Harwood, I went down to the trail and hiked the trail about 4/10th mile to Devils Backbone. It was just a short distance off the trail. From Devils Backbone, I continued down the trail to the junction with the road to Baldy Notch and continued on the dirt road to Gold Ridge. I hiked about 1/10th mile past the peak to a saddle, then turned left (north) and followed a use trail to the summit. The first 50 feet is a little dicey You are walking along a very narrow ridge. It then opens up and is a good use trail to the summit. There was no register or BM on the summit.
From Gold Ridge, I went back down the road to Baldy Notch and took the ski lift down and walked the short distance to the vehicle.
