Ascent Trip ReportThe last of my New Hampshire 4000 Footers. Did a solo trail run up Lincoln Woods, Franconia Brook Trail, Lincoln Brook Trail, owls head slide. River Crossings were easy and a bit of mud on the trail and other places but nothing too bad. The slide itself was dry and therefore wasn't too bad although definitely tricky and a few spots. The exposed part of the slide is probably only a couple hundred yards long and then the trail goes under cover. Found the trail from the false Summit to the actual Summit was longer than I expected, and actually had me wondering whether I took a wrong turn. In the end though you can't miss the cairn.
I actually enjoyed having this is my last 4k hike in nh as it gave me a lot of time to think about all of the previous hikes. That said I am kind of sad that they are all done...
