Ascent Trip ReportClimbed from Bulgarian side. Were told permission was required, but didn't see any police/border guards. Route simple, and mostly marked. When reaching saddle, turn left and follow simple ridge until stone marker (lots of cows up there!). Don't think maps are available. Finding trailhead could be difficult, but luckily I got advice from American Peace Corps worker in the village (as of summer 2010). Successful summit. |
