Ascent Trip ReportParked at the saddle between S. Fork Dixie Creek and Mormon Basin because there were no threatening signs where I would be entering the private land. Worked my way north, then east to the west slopes of Pedro, then ascended to the summit. The idea was to be away from roads and out of sight. The ploy worked, but I have no idea how necessary those precautions were, whether I was just lucky, or whether the same conditions exist there now (July 2018). This photo is looking NE from my parking spot to the mountain, the tree-covered peak in the center.
