Ascent Trip ReportQuick evening hike after work. The weather was pleasant despite being a bit cloudy. The trail is in pretty good shape, but the bare rock sections can get pretty slick when wet. Plenty of open summit and great views, especially as the sun is starting to go down. Unfortunately the cabin on top of the fire tower was locked so I wasn't able to get any pics from inside there, but I did get some nice ones from the stairs. Took about an hour up and 30 min. back down for #8 for me on the Fire Tower Challenge. |
