Ascent Trip Report

Governors Ridge needs a new summit register. Black pipe container currently on summit is fine, but only contains scraps of paper. If you are heading up, consider leaving a new register.

Finding the correct pinnacle to climb is not difficult. At saddle, only descend a short distance (~20') then keep on left edge of gully. Climbers trail(s) are clear once you can exit left out of gully. Then, as others have stated, cross large gray-colored talus band until you can see brown rock slopes angling up to right. These slopes are loose and often unpleasant but not dangerous or difficult. They lead directly to top.
