Ascent Trip Report

Drove up halfway on logging roads from south side of mountain. Large parking lot at trailhead. Hiking boots preferred, but good running shoes okay.
Well-maintained trail. A rite of passage for Chilliwackers. Some snowy slopes to jump in or throw snowballs on the way down, even in July. Some loose rocks near the summit. Several plaques at the top commemorating people who have fallen and died at the top.
Some children ascending in flipflops as we descended! A great hike, but start early in the morning.
