|Others in Party:||Kelly|
|Date:||Wednesday, July 27, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||13555 ft / 4131 m|
Ascent Trip ReportWe started from the Bridal Veil Falls lower parking lot, and hiked two miles or so up the road, getting a nice look at the 365' waterfall. Next we followed the jeep road due south through Bridal Veil Basin, seeing more cascading water and nice views all around.
We left the jeep trail a little after passing 12,200' and went west through scenic high meadows toward the 12,815' lake. After a short rest, I headed up Wasatch Mtn, first gaining the NE ridge, and then continuing up to the summit. My wife Kelly stayed down by the lake and caught some rays.
After I descended Wasatch and returned to the lake, we hiked back out the same way we came in.
