|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||10497 ft / 3199 m|
Ascent Trip ReportClimbed with Scott Vanevenhoven July 15,16.
Did Whitewater Glacier route. Camped at 7014 feet. Very nice camp site. Long summit day as we also walked out. Glacier easy, nice rock ridge we joined at 9322 feet.
Terrible Traverse still firm on morning - not so much on afternoon. Actual summit had lots of snow. I led a fairly steep snow pitch where there is normally 3rd or 4th class rock. Then hit dry rock on top of ridge. Hit this at very left end of summit ridge.
A party of 6 had summited right before us.
Downclimbed everything as we only had one rope.
Clouds forming and dissipating as we were on summit.
Overall a pretty tough summit. A pain to get off of.
