Ascent Trip Report

Westside approach in early april. Lots of snow in Arizona Creek on the east side still, so I took a chance that the mountain could be accessed from the west. Roads were typical of this area, and there are a few gates to open and close, but nothing a modest 4x4 cant handle. Ridgewalk was snow free until somewhere around the 7k mark, and was frozen enough in the morning to walk on without snowshoes. This was a highly enjoyable solo hike in great winter conditions.
