Ascent Trip ReportUsing Google Maps, you can find the trailhead by entering the GPS coordinates 32°53'08.2"N 116°25'57.7"W. This trailhead is called the "Big Laguna Trail". You'll follow this trail until 32°53'17.0"N 116°25'33.5"W at which point you'll turn left. At 32°53'30.5"N 116°25'32.6"W the PCT will turn left but you'll want to go strait through some bushes, and then the trail will turn a little bit rocky as you climb toward the fenced-in trailers. At the trailers you'll turn left and walk around the fence until you get to the road. Turn left and follow the road to the top of the mountain. At the peak you will see nice views of the Desert, and overall worth the hike, although I would classify Garnet Peak as preferable for hiking and views.
