Ascent Trip Report

Mike Yates and I headed up to the Tusk the weekend before we returned back to UBC. We headed up from the road trailhead rather late on the Saturday. When we arrived up in the alpine it was raining hard. We made camp in a meadow and stayed in the tent eating and playing cards all evening in the tent. The storm blew itself out overnight and by the next morning the sun came out. We were able to get to the base of the Tusk early in the morning. We headed up the chimney to the top. The view was spectacular. After throwing a few rocks off the top Mike and I headed back down the chimney. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the alpine. The following morning we headed back down the trail. A great start to the school year. Thanks Mike
