Ascent Trip Report We had a beautiful three pitch climb up the backside of Bishop Peak. We spent awhile looking for the right rock formation to climb up. After about 5 minutes we found it then climbed the first pitch which is about a 5.6. After we crossed a gully (where I almost lost my pack), to the second pitch. The second pitch was basically a crawl into brambles and poison ivy. Then a short bush wack up to the summit and final pitch with a wonderful view and at least twenty hawks circling the mountain. Definitely going on my list of favorites.
