Ascent Trip ReportMy first ascent of this mountain from the north side. A little steeper and rockier with less views (since we weren't passing Giant Ledge), but still lots of fun!
About 10 miles round trip. Our group was 11. I was in front most of the way, together with Ashley and Casia. We could've done the whole thing in less than 5 hours if it wasn't that we stopped frequently to wait for slower hikers.
Blue trail all the way, fairly easy to follow. Not that well maintained and we had to deal with several blowdowns, but nothing too bad.
Beautiful and mild fall day with plenty of foliage to admire from the top. We met with several hikers, coming from both directions.
