|Date:||Sunday, June 12, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||4x4 Vehicle|
| Elevation:||7811 ft / 2380 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI followed Edward Earl's 2010-07-11 driving directions, but drove on higher, past a junction requiring a sharp left (right is posted No Trespassing) and up to the 6950' saddle. The last part of the drive to the saddle was steep and a little loose, and required 4WD.
From the saddle I climbed towards the summit starting just left of the ridge line, where I found a boot track and could avoid most of the brush and downed timber. Eventually I traversed right following a boot track as the slope steepened in talus.
