Ascent Trip Report0600 Car. Road pointlessly blocked off ~1.2 mile before trailhead (by Iron Peak TH) -- the road beyond that would be easily passable in a high clearance vehicle up until 150 ft. before trailhead.
1000 Base of S ridge climb -- Dogtooth Crag (notch between S Ingalls and N Ingalls). Soloed 5.4 to the top.
1100-1115 Top of N Ingalls
For descent I did 3 raps with two 35m rap lines. Was first time using 6 mm rap line so took a while to figure out correct configuration of munters for appropriate friction. Ended up a munter on an extension (a la extended rappel) and another munter on belay loop, with ends tied to my harness for safety.
1315 Back at the base of the climb.
Roughly followed ridge to S Ingalls and on to Fortune. Some 4th+ class encountered up false summit of S Ingalls, could probably have been avoided by putting on crampons.and going on steep snow. Then, some ridge walking and awkward traversing (occasionally following footprints in the snow) to Fortune.
1434 Fortune Peak
Followed ridge or to the right down to pass. I think I traversed too low on the right a few times.
