Ascent Trip ReportAscended in a loop from Columbine Campground. Cold night, the snow was firm for the gradual eastern portion of the loop and allowed for us to climb the winddrifts straight to Arc Domes summit. We could not locate a register beneath all the snow, maybe a more westerly stash point would be better as it is wind scoured on that side. Standing glissades down and then on the the north summit and Cirque mountain where we took the northern loop down. Great glissade from the northern saddle right to a nice spring that we got much needed water from. Down the beautiful and blooming aspen groves to our stashed beer! Drove out the south way and found an old cobblestone cabin that had a thatch and mud roof (collapsed), thats the first time I have seen that in america. On to Jefferson for a big day.
