Ascent Trip Report

last of a three peak trip. the other two peaks (peak 8992 and snow valley east) were more challenging and had better views :) well the views bit is subjective: there's an antenna/weather station on top of snow valley peak and it wasn't possible to get a nice 360 pano, you have to walk around the station to get unfettered views to the north.

it was "national trails day", and i saw many many people out enjoying the day along the TRT as i returned to spooner TH around noon. i had started my day at 7am and the parking lots were empty then, but by the time i got back to spooner there were people parked all up/down US-50 on the shoulder.
