Ascent Trip ReportWe benefited greatly from MoapaPeak's description on summitpost, and generally meant to follow his western route. But we managed to deviate to the south and came up a chute on the south side of the summit. This route actually worked well, and having come down the northern drainage, I think the southern one has the advantage of more rock overall and thus some stable footing (though make no mistake, it is super steep). Rugged beautiful country. Having done part of the route from Sixmile Summit previously, I missed the traverse across the open steppes, as this route is pretty ridge oriented. So will pursue either of the routes from the sixmile summit or the townsite (northeast) next time.
