Ascent Trip Report

This was part of my early season series of hikes in the "Issaquah Alps". I had done Tiger mountain, plus Squak, and Little Si (which isn't really part of that group). After consulting the Tiger Mtn trail map, I thought this one would be a good one to knock off the list. The hike was ok - along fire road mostly, then at the very end a short leg through the trees to the "summit" which is a hilly bump in the trees. Not too exciting. I was also wearing my Scarpa hiking boots, which had started to hurt my feet, which is strange, since they were very comfortable for the first two years - go figure. I still think they're a good boot, like the Vasques I used to swear by, but now am wearing Salomon, which are working very well.
