Ascent Trip Report

Great trip with David and Becca. Trail has a number of trees that are being removed and snow free to meadows. Snow 3/4 the way up to the ridge saddle and was firm due to the frosty temp and light dusting of snow. Route descriptions accurate. We summited North Gardner first then went back down from the saddle to about 7400 traversed over to Gardner and went up the first gully we came to. It was firm snow to the top but steep. If I did it again it would pick the second gully as it appears to have a lower angle. Weather deteriorated during the day seem to have everything except lighting and thunder. Total trip time tent to tent 10.5 hours
