Take Exit 76 (Wolf Creek) off I-5.
Continue South on Coyote Creek Road on the east side of I-5 towards Golden (paved road).
Near milepost 3 pass through the center of Golden. Zero your odometer.

0.0 Pass though the center of Golden.
1.9 Pavement ends
2.6 BEAR LEFT on Coyote Creek Road 33-5-21
3.6 CONTINUE STRAIGHT (pass 33-5-22 on left)
4.7 CONTINUE STRAIGHT through a 4-way intersection (stay on 33-5-21)
6.0 TURN LEFT onto 33-5-26 (unmarked Baker Creek Road)
7.7 CONTINUE STRAIGHT (pass 33-5-13 on right)
8.1 PASS a large campsite on your left; road gets rougher here
8.4 PARKED here at a nice campsite for a short hike to the summit
