Ascent Trip ReportCamped on the old shoreline to the west. On the way up we went to the north underneath the larg summit cliff and THIS is the place to camp! Amazing views, flat terrain, shade from the cliff and even a few large cliff chunks that broke off long ago and embedded themselves in the shoreline providing nice chairs. The summit is a short jaunt up. We saw Horny toads, scorpions, and a bunch of pronghorn ran alongside the car on the way in. The salt flats to the north by the Newfoundland range were flooded from the wet spring and created a surreal view that mirrored everything around.
