Ascent Trip ReportParked on a spur road between Sunrise (closed) and Skyliner Lodges. Skinned and skied up on Randonee skis about 600 feet then decided to remove and carry my skis to the summit on firm snow. I tried to stay away from active ski runs but did use the snow-covered road above the Rainbow Chair until it got too close to the summit lift. The lifts closed at 1PM for grooming and I was shooed off the summit shortly after. My descent went very well - my first ski of the 2015-2016 season!
