Ascent of Mount Elbert on 2016-05-01
|Date:||Sunday, May 1, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
| Elevation:||4327 ft / 1318 m|
Ascent Trip ReportWas planning on getting quite a bit further up the road, but got stopped by some last vestiges of snow pack. Easy walking. The road gets a little overgrown in places. The west face is much more open than the north side, but with snow the ground they were about equally easy to walk.
