Ascent Trip ReportBig day! Did the "Lindyhop" ridge run! Haha. That is Charleston, Lees, Mummy, and Cockcomb. I guess a fuller version for those with more energy would include Griffith and the Mummy Toe. I was running short on daylight and wasnt sure how the descent on that side by Mummy Toe would go. Running down the from the saddle to the east was a blast in the slightly moist dirt that made 1000 vert go by in a minute or 2. Cockscomb was a fun addition, you can definitely make it 4th or 5th class easily if you get off the easier route as I did for the ascent, but not descent (purposefully). Lots of snow and no tracks on Charleston, I took the Devils Thumb Coulior (4th class) up, Crampons were needed and an ax would have been nice too, but I managed. I took the next coulior South on the descent, very large Bristlecones on the ledges there. Great day overall, went to a great buffet at the Wicked Spoon afterwards and then drove to the base of the Mormon Mountains for the next days objective.
