Ascent Trip ReportA Missouri 300 ft prominent peak, 17th highest of probably 79 peaks. A nice, modest bushwack. I completed Buford, then drove 21 south, turned north onto Rt. N. The satellite shows an Iron county Rt. 32A which is paved with many homes. One homeowner told me all was private property when I questioned about access. I tried a different approach. From the intersection with Rt. 21 and Rt. N drive north on N. You will see a sign showing the tiny town of Middlebrook. Soon Iron Co Rt. 32 veers right, stay on N and just beyond there is a large pull off. Park and walk across the road. There is an old ATV trail that leads to an old destroyed home with debris. Absolutely no posted signs. I started bushwack basically west and came upon an old ATV trail going perpendicular. A barb wire fence beyond ended to the south. I continued bushwack which was denser for awhile then thinned out near the top. Another ATV trail was encountered which I followed short distance to the top. There were multiple large stones I climbed on top to be certain summit reached.
