|Date:||Sunday, April 10, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||5920 ft / 1804 m|
Ascent Trip ReportStarted from the lower trailhead at 09:15 in the clouds. No snow on the trail until we were above the junction with the upper trail. By the time we left the trees we were above the clouds and it got very warm out quickly with all of the sunshine reflecting off the snow. Winter route was easy to follow and it was still early enough that the snow wasn't too soft yet, but it seemed to be getting slushier by the minute.
Amazing views from the top: all five Washington volcanoes were in view above the clouds! The glissade down was a blast. Great day!!
