|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Mount Saint Helens|
| Elevation:||8333 ft / 2539 m|
Ascent Trip ReportWe left the parking lot at 6:45am. At about 1.1 miles in, we were able to switch over to skinning. From there it was mostly a straight shot to the summit, with just a couple rough patches. We hit the ridge at about 12:30 and I walked over to the summit at about 12:45. On the way down, the snow was heavy and slushy. There was one step down where we took off our skis, although we might have been able to find a different way around. We returned to the cars by 3:45.
