Ascent Trip Report

Kofa Queen Canyon Rd to TH was easy in stock Pathfinder. Used 4WD but don't think it was ever necessary.

Trail to summit was easy to follow with numerous cairns. Some steep loose sections that were no problem going up, but more difficult to avoid slipping on way down.

Saw a couple garter snakes, but no rattlers. Plateau near summit had 5 desert bighorns with 2 lambs.

Kofa Mtns and Castle Dome Mtns have some sharp peaks, but views hindered by blowing dust.
