Ascent Trip Report

Our GPS measurements yielded the following results:
1) Of the three sides of the summit contour of Whiting Mountain, the southern side was highest.
2) As we roamed the southern hill of Whiting Mountain, our highpoint measurements ranged from 2432'-2446', mostly between 2440'-2446' for the highest ground.
3) The GPS measurements we took at Whiting Mountain were much higher than the multiple areas we visited atop Hare Mountain. In our collective opinion, Whiting Mountain is the Franklin CoHP.
