Ascent Trip Report

Walked the steep road up and then had fun scrambling up the nice rock knob at the top. Great views. Fun little dumpster peak.

Isabel was ready to go home and I wanted to bag the little skidder, since Adrian and I got the big daddy skidder earlier this year. We settled for the lesser Skid Mark Hill, as I knew it was mostly a drive up. After heading up the road by car to its terminus, we the remainder of the road on foot, then bushwacked up the last section to some rocky ledge systems at the top. Convinced we had the high ground,we headed down the hill. This one is in close proximity to housing, though no signage saying private property or the like. Isabel called this a dookie pookie peak, showing her disdain.

A nice outage nonetheless with good views into the Olympics and back accross the sound.
