Ascent Trip Report

Just stay on the manway and you'll straight to the summit, which is a good 300' or so before you get to the cross. It will be marked by a metal pole anchored in cement. The manway skirts around the cross counterclockwise and continues northeast down the ridgeline. Eventually the trail will join in with a rough, unpaved road which was a welcome site for me since the manway is quite rough in spots. Follow this road until you come to the end of it and you'll be close to Plott Balsam.
