Ascent Trip Report

This is a great, seldom visited peak. While a high clearance vehicle is needed to get to the trailhead we used, it is only a bit over 3 miles from the townsite of Gold Butte, where we camped- and that area can be reached with a standard passenger car. The route up is fairly straightforward - it's steep, but the ground is fairly good, and the few obstacles can be easily avoided.
