|Date:||Saturday, January 30, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||5057 ft / 1541 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI started out with the ambition of hiking the entire ridgeline, but getting a chest cold right before this hike ruled that out for me. At least I was able to get the high point, and my two hiking partners were able to complete the ridgeline.
The trail is fairly easy to follow, once it starts gaining elevation. The lower section has numerous (unsigned) alternative trails, so one has to be careful when starting out. Beyond that, the only trail junction is at about 4200'- take the fork going down, unless you want to gain and promptly lose 100+ feet of elevation.
