Ascent Trip ReportIn Nashville for a business trip, I headed out with about an hour of sunlight to go. The park closes at sunset. I hustled as best as I could but there was just not enough time. I turned around knowing that just before the ridge since it was fairly dark. I met a ranger on the main park road heading back to the car and apologized for still being out. He was very nice but explained that he did leave a warning on the car, with a reminder of the park hours. Guess I should have taken a half day, but tough to do when I had other obligations. |
