Ascent Trip ReportWalked from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem, through Herod's Gate, to the Western Wall and Temple Mount, then from Temple Mount to Church of the Holy Sepulchre, doing the stations of the cross backwards, to the Lion's Gate, descended to the Tomb of the Virgin Mary, and up the path to the Mount of Olives. From there, walked along the road that goes along the ridge toward Mount Scopus, and then back to the Lion's Gate, to Damascus Gate, to Sheikh Jarrah. |
