Ascent Trip ReportI guessed correctly when I took an unsigned dirt road approx. 4.1 miles north of Sagehen Summit on U.S. 395. It proceeds 5.5 miles to the top of Likely Mountain. An unstaffed but seemingly well maintained metal L.O. stands in the midst of telecommunication equipment. The USGS benchmark is inscribed "South Fork," the name used before "Likely." Good views toward the South Warner Mountains and the flatlands in the Alturas area.
