Ascent Trip ReportClimbed various points on the Höher Randen in a blizzard. 30-50cm snow on the ground but reasonably firm and manageable without snowshoes. No other life in evidence except for a couple of deer. White-out conditions meant we had to search for the viewing tower. As it turned out this was truly enormous (37m high) with some communications equipment on top. Must be a great view on a clear day.. |
