Ascent Trip Report

From Juniper Lake at the end of the Chester-Juniper Lake Rd in the SE corner of Lassen Volcanic National Park, follow the good trail that leads for 1.9 miles through the forest up to the open summit of Mt. Harkness and the L.O. Fine views of Brokeoff Mountain, Mt. Diller, and, of course, Lassen Peak. Though still active, the L.O. was not staffed today.
