Ascent Trip ReportThis was our second State Park Highpoint of the day. This one is easy to miss. It about 7 miles from Cambria to the north and 7 miles from Cayucos to the south. Parking is at a small parking lot on the west side of Highway One. We parked and walked the Harmony Headlands trail until approximately the restrooms. After that we took a deer trail to the ridgeline to the south. We found the fence and followed it west until we could see an obvious hill. We found the BM and its witness BM. The views along the coast and ocean were amazing. Note: There are signs saying not to enter at particular places along the trail. You be the judge about what route you select.
