Ascent Trip Report Sole hike of these two Lower Peaks and Peak 4030. I took 38 to 2 miles past the Mill Creek Ranger Station to 1N12. The lower gate was unlock so I was able to drive the mile and 700’ gain to the locked gate for Morton and Cram. Any high clearance vehicle can handle this road. I hiked the 1.4 miles to just past the old jeep road that the peak guide tells you to take to Cram. From past experience, I have found this road to be bushed over. Instead, about 100 yards past the road, there is a use trail that goes down a ridge and meets the road. This ridge route is a little brushed over in spots, but better than the road. Once on the road, continue to follow the road to the summit. It goes over the first bump then past 4 or 5 bumps to Cram. It’s a little brushy in spots, but easy to follow. I returned the same way, then up to Morton and then down to the car. Since the car was parked at the trailhead for 4030, I decided to pick that Peakbagger peak up.
