Ascent Trip Report

Climbed from campsite just below Martha Lake (11,004'), where several of us and our young teenager kids had been packed in from Florence Lake to enjoy 5 days in this beautiful, less traveled area of the Sierra. I approached Mt. Reinstein from Reinstein Pass (11,880')and up the rocky slopes of the SE ridge. The climbing was mostly Class 2 with some minor Class 3. Extensive panoramic views as well as great close-ups of Martha Lake and Mt. Goddard.
