Ascent Trip Report

this was quite a long trip. Table was a standard trail hike. left the Peekamoose trail just past the Table Mtn.summit and descended to the col of Table and Lone no biggie just some thick evergreen at the beginning of the descent. Since I did Lone 2 weeks earlier followed the 3200 Foot topo towards Rocky (longer than I expected). Found the ridge line to Rocky(Boy was that clogged with evergreen and deadfall)and pushed through for half a mile of fun house hell. Not a steep climb at all thank heavens. Some decent views of Balsam Cap and Slide I believe from the boulder ledges. The descent down to the Neversink is not too bad along the left bank of a tributary stream but will be better with no brush. Fisherman's path along the Neversink is fairly easy to follow but fades in and out. Basically follow the East Branch back to the Table trail bridges and your home.
