Ascent Trip Report

Andy and I hiked up Barr Trail. At the A Frame we lost the trail and ended up scrambling and snow climbing for a couple of hours till we found the trail again. It took 9 hours. Andy had a heavy pack (65lbs) as he is in training. I had some symptoms of AMS (H/A, nausea) which resolved by the time I got home. We were picked up at the summit. Could have definitely used crampons, gaiters, and an ice axe.
